Gewog Thrizin, Farm Manager and staff along with Gewog extension officers welcomed Hon’ble Sanam Lyonpo and team. The farm Manager updated the status, issues, and challenges of the farm.

The farm currently houses native poultry and local cattle to conserve the genetics of these animals. The farm was instituted in 2017 and was handed over by the Department of Livestock to the National Biodiversity Centre as part of the Civil Service Reform.

Hon’ble Sanam Lyonpo thanked the team for their warm welcome and appreciated the staff for their hard work and dedication. During the farm visit, the farmer manager informed the progress, issues, and challenges faced by the farm.
