April 18, 2024: Hon’ble Sanam Lyonpo was welcomed and received by Dasho Dzongda, Drangpon, local government leaders, and the civil servants of Mongar Dzongkhag. The officials offered Tashi Khadar and reported the status of Dzongkhag’s 13th FYP. Hon’ble Sanam Lyonpo thanked and expressed his happiness and gratitude to all and shared the purpose of the visit to the East.
Lyonpo thanked all the civil servants for their hard work to see the country through the ongoing crucial times of a low economy and high attrition rate. Hon’ble Sanam Lyonpo reminded all that we must work together as one body, with the central-like head and the field-like limbs. Later Hon’ble Sanam Lyonpo met the officials of the ARDC sub-centre, Regional Poultry breeding center, and Post Harvest officials conveying similar messages and more specifically the agriculture targets, and contributions to GDP we have to work towards.
Hon’ble Sanam Lyonpo spent time with the RNR staff over dinner and sought their utmost efforts for the very ambitious target of contributing towards 50 billion to GDP.
