24th April 2024: Meeting with the delegation from the German Federal Ministry for Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV). Today, the Hon’ble Sanam Lyonpo met with the delegation from the German Federal Ministry for Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV). During the discussion, the HSL acknowledged the support from the German Federal Ministry of BMUV, notably the International Climate Initiative (IKI) projects. The delegation was also informed of the ministry’s ambitious 13th FYP, challenges, and opportunities in the agriculture sector.
The discussion also delved into potential areas of collaboration such as biodiversity conservation, climate-smart agriculture, and organic agriculture.
