Updated Cost Sharing Mechanism Guideline 2025 (CSM 2025) for the Agrifood Sector 

This has reference to the Ministry’s earlier Notification No. MOAL/PPD/MGT/1/2024-25/383 dated 3rd July 2025 regarding the Cost Sharing Mechanism Guideline 2025 (CSM 2025) for the Agrifood Sector. To enhance clarity in implementation, the justification components of the CSM 2025 have been refined with necessary elaborations for activities of different commodities as specified below:

  1. Paddy

    1. Promotion of newly released improved paddy seeds

    2. Land development

    3. Procurement and Supply of Farm Machinery (power tiller/mini-tillers/ transplanter/harvestors/threshers/mills)

  1. Maize

    1. Promotion of newly released improved seeds

    2. Land development

  1. Vegetable

    1. Procurement and supply of barbed wire and green-net fencing

    2. Procurement and supply of prefabricated Greenhouses

  1. Mushroom

    1. Support for Mushroom and Spawn production equipment such as spawn injector gun, air compressor, drilling machine, laminar airflow, autoclave,  sawdust mixer, sawdust grinding machine, etc

  1. Support to Highland production (Yak)

    1. Support restoration of rangeland resources (fodder seeds and seedlings)
