The College of Natural Resources, Royal University of Bhutan, is pleased to announce call for abstracts for the international conference “Transforming Asia: Sustainable Innovation in Agriculture, Food, Environment, Climate, and Development – 1.0.” The conference will be organised by the Centre for Sustainable Mountain Agriculture (CSMA) at CNR from March 24 to 26, 2026.
This conference aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and promote sustainable and innovative solutions for transforming agriculture, food systems, the environment, climate, and development in Bhutan and the region. The event will bring together researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and community stakeholders to share knowledge, discuss challenges, and explore actionable strategies that align with Bhutan’s Gross National Happiness (GNH) framework and environmental sustainability goals.
We welcome submissions of abstracts for published or completed research work on the following themes:
- Agriculture
- Food & Nutrition Security
- Climate Resilience
- Forest & Natural Resource Conservation
- Livelihoods & Rural Innovation
- Environment & Biodiversity
- Livestock & One Health
